Yeah, last week flattened me. Financeeeee

UGHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhbrbhlhlllllglgl why are the instructions on my accounting homework wrong so they send me to look at the wrong financial statements to get pension fund information this shouldn't have taken 2 damned hours to do.

I don't like the elf's face so I think it'll be tweaked a bit.

Did a sketch for a commission but didn't like it, so I get to try again!

Well. I've been working on these so I figured I may as well post them. I worked harrrrd to get the dragon looking decent and now the goal is to make sure he doesn't steal the show. PURPLEEEEEEe. I kind of screwed up, because I drew this straight into photoshop instead of on paper first, so every few minutes I went THE DRAGON HAS TO BE BIGGER, NO, BIGGER! So when I scaled this down to 72 dpi it was still too large to fit on my screen. lol Maybe it'll just have to be a wallpaper :3

RAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I've been on and around, but I was away from home and my laptop contracted a trojan (but the ad banner was so enticing!). I got the infection taken care of but there was evidence that the only way to be sure everything was safe was to... restore it to the factory image for the 3rd time. In the process I apparently lost two finished versions of commissions, so I get to do those again.

HAVE SOME EVERYTHING

Pluggin along. I've been doing stuff but haven't really been documenting it because this weekend sucked. Mind has been all over the place.

I'm not exactly sure what's up with my desktop but it's being incredibly fussy. It's had some trouble with games, but was offended that I asked it to run photoshop last night. No idea what the problem could be. It's sitting in time out today, hopefully it just needs a good sit to think about what it's done ;)

What it mostly amounted to was I couldn't finish my final pass on this last night, to correct some colors and clean up nonsense. Just as well I suppose, I haven't gotten a response from the client yet as to whether or not something needs to be changed (because it takes me 4 weeks to answer an email, but I demand responses NOW NOW NOW lol).



And then this is... prepared. Idk, coloring always feels like the fast part.

amigad maybe I have my own life again I'm not sure.

I spent the week poking at things but not really making enough progress on most of them to waste bandwidth on.



And I got word last night that this isn't going to be published, which I take as permission to post everywharrrrrrr.

A commission where I was given a script and a lot of free reign - which I then promptly regretted as soon as it came time to do the type by hand. WHHEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeugh.

I get lost on the internet sometimes. You probably know how it is.

Breakaway makes me realize how completely out of practice I am, so I googled around for figure drawing sessions. What I've discovered is that I suck. lol

Arg. Well. The mapping errors I thought I'd fixed in my tablet have come back with a vengeance, to the point that drawing last night was a frustrating experience. So right now I'm watching several auctions on ebay. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have purchased a small Intuos 3 6X4 that I can get by on (and will use at work), and I'll be watching for cheap 8X6s for home. It's looking promising, there's at least several 6X4s that are under $75 with a few hours left on them...

Ugh that just really sucks. Like, I had it for 7 years of continuous use, and that's cool, but why couldn't it just last forever!?

Slightly better but still a mess. I'm just going to take it in stride and keep moving. With my hands in my pockets and nonincriminating whistling.

Just a lot of cleaning yesterday. I messed up my hand helping work move to a new office. I don't know how bad it is - asprin isn't doing a whole lot for it. I may have torn something in my middle finger, but aside from constant pain it's only a little swollen and I have full mobility, so hopefully this fuckup is MERELY A SETBACK and not something immensely serious.

I'm also covered in various bruises all over my body, but that's more a testament to my own ineptitude than artistic struggle.
