RAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I've been on and around, but I was away from home and my laptop contracted a trojan (but the ad banner was so enticing!). I got the infection taken care of but there was evidence that the only way to be sure everything was safe was to... restore it to the factory image for the 3rd time. In the process I apparently lost two finished versions of commissions, so I get to do those again.

And yeah, this one is still really squicky with sort of... implied adult themes and involuntary nudity.

Neither of these are great photos, but the thing in question isn't done anyway so I have time to figure it out. The original painting was done two years ago, I'm in the process of 'fixing' it. The areas with blue and purple and the new things. The wall in question lives about three hours away from me though, so it is likely I won't be finishing it until Thanksgiving or Christmas.

But yeah! I spent labor day putting electric blue on someone's bathroom wall. BAM.

This was approved so today I have a lot of cleaning and flatting I can do.

I didn't accomplish a whole lot yesterday. I think this weekend is going to be action packed ._.

I am like, a freaking genius this week because I didn't bring my tablet pen with my yesterday. What I really need is one that clips to my keychain like the USB drive, so I can clearly see as I'm walking out of the house whether or not I have it (mind you, Wacom would charge $200 for such a thing so nm).

So yesterday was a lot of convincing myself I was being productive while feeling guilty

WArrrrrgh. Well I spent all yesterday reading my stats textbook, so I did get that out of the way. I was feeling kind of bad around 2am though, because this is taking longer than I said it would. So I started throwing colors at it.



Maybe I can finish it tonight? I dunno. Spending the morning with mom and the afternoon with my study group. ._.

This is close to being finished... I think I can pound it out tonight and spend the weekend on my commission. We'll see. This plan requires also being able to finish a bulk of my homework today (at least the reading is 80 pages instead of 200 this weekend)

Yay a commissioner paid me, so I can start work! Except not now because I'm spending like, the next 8 hours doing something that might generously be called 'studying'.

Well the other page actually had enough changed to probably justify an update, but I did it all after lettering it, so you'll just have to live without.

My boyfriend tries desperately to keep me on task (especially difficult since I seem my happiest when I have 15 things in progress at once).

Blargarbl. At this point I have two commissions and a job all floating in the air and I can't do anything until someone emails me back and agrees to my terms (in the form of paying me :P).

I didn't do a whole lot yesterday due to just being too exhausted to try (I went to bed a lot earlier than my norm, too). But I did a wittle.

When I get angry at a drawing I tend to write stupid things on it to make me feel better. Was it really necessary that I save all the blank space in the file? No. BUT I DID ANYWAY.



And then stupid shit. Look, I'm allowed to draw stupid shit, ok?

I had to pull out my copies of the episodes to get a good reference of the Aerowing (and even then it's at the wrong angle, so I'm doing a lot of guessing), and laughed myself silly when I saw exactly how exaggerated I've gotten with the boots in comparison to the source material.

It's like that problem Warcraft has where every tier, shoulders get 10% larger.

I've actually been working on a spread the last two nights but I can't show it because it's under an NDA. And working on that means I have a Breakaway page that's not even laid out yet. Ah, life.

Not a lot done yesterday because it was PATCH DAY and I needed to try THINGS (for my efforts the system rewarded me a potion that I slipped into the guild bank and hope never to see again).

On the cool side of things, the job I applied to in February and figured I hadn't gotten... actually appears not to have been filled yet, and I've been given a test assignment. So I'm just freaking out a little (though maybe it's not a bad thing no one wants to commission me, if I'm going to be coloring a lot of spreads o.o)

Didn't work much on the bid but I think he's cool enough he deserves more screentime :D



Didn't get to lettering this yet, but that's ok because even if I totally forgot, I imagine most wow players would get it.
