It is Friday and I'm exhausted but that's normal isn't it.

Commissioner declared the work finished so I went yayayyyyyy

And I sort of really wish PNG files were stupid amounts of huge :/





Blizzard and I are having a bit of a falling out so I suspect there will be one or two more of these, and then I'm cancelling my subscription. I still have a bunch of related stuff in backlog to get through, but after that I'm moving on to bigger and better things, I think.

Considering Alexstraza done and moving on to Chromie.

Did a bunch of homework yesterday, but had time to prepare Alt-z for coloring.

WENESDAY HOW DID THIS HAPPEN

What I've discovered is my laptop's screen is not true to color (maybe I can screw with calibrating it?) I promise this was a lot less saturated on it :(

So the situation wasn't quite as dire as I thought, but yesterday was mostly spent studying. Mostly it means I get the weekend to myself :)

The idea of getting Breakaway done on Fridays seems to be working so far. We'll see I suppose.

This is close to being finished... I think I can pound it out tonight and spend the weekend on my commission. We'll see. This plan requires also being able to finish a bulk of my homework today (at least the reading is 80 pages instead of 200 this weekend)

I found my missing tablet pen! I'd managed to hide it really well in my office. Thank god because I was not really enjoying the idea of buying a new one (I bought the tablet itself new for $250, buying a new pen for $100 was like whaaaaaaaaaaaat).

Things I like, things I don't.

Long time no poast! I spent Saturday reading a stats textbook and Sunday recovering from it. I think that's going to be the way weekends are from now on. It was worth it though, was very prepared for class last night.

Yesterday was a drawing day. Some days are just NO COLOR for no particular reason.

More pieces of a large thing. There's actually more than this but I didn't want to spam today.



Working out characters for a commission. I decided this drawing didn't quite work for a number of reasons, so I redid it to the one below. The background character was done separately because I find working that way infinitely easier to adjust.





And then this week's Alt-z.

Well the other page actually had enough changed to probably justify an update, but I did it all after lettering it, so you'll just have to live without.

I looked at this page today while preparing to upload it and it dawned on me just how terrible I am at writing. :/



And then this, which is just plain being bad at drawing.



My boyfriend tries desperately to keep me on task (especially difficult since I seem my happiest when I have 15 things in progress at once).

(I actually liked him enough I made him an appropriately sized wallpaper for my own desktop :D)

And then I was like 'Let's vomit color on stuff'

Hmm. It is Thursday. How about that. I didn't get the colorist job, which is kind of sad and kind of good, since school starts next week and I'm really not sure how hard it is going to be to juggle my time anyway. On the cool side, the guy has offered to pay me for time already spent, so the world isn't over (yet).

This isn't done but it's so close I may not bother posting the finished version, to spare your precious layout space. I'm really annoyed that I ended up working on this page, but I guess the upside is I have next week's already laid out and ready for flatting.



I fix-ed Mallory, and now she totally looks like herself. lol



And I made myself sit down and color this yesterday.
