Well idk. I did work yesterday, saved the files, brushed my teeth, and came back to my computer going HI I REBOOTED FOR YOU. It's claiming to be a driver error, though I swear this thing has been presenting more as a memory error.

So whatever, let's do the works. I update the video drivers, uninstalled WoW,and left it to defrag/cleanup while I'm at work. I suspect this weekend I'll be getting on my hands and knees and cleaning all the dust out of it to see if it's happier. LIVE DAMN YOUUU.

But hey stuff was done so there.

Did my 'once over' which with crashing was more a 'fourteenth times over' to clean, and had a few last minute changes (fuuuuu hands). But it is done! Yay! Sort of breaks my rule of getting stuff done in a reasonable time though. I have a short attention span so this was getting to the point I was annoying :(

And I discovered that bamboo + laptop monitor is not conducive to small details, so I had to mash at them last night when I got home instead. I think I can get this done and prepare the next page for flatting/color tomorrow.

I'm sort of blah about how these are working out. I guess they're ok but... idk I think my mindset here isn't right. Learning experience learning experience cry cry. I like artsy things, not talking heads :(

I'm not exactly sure what's up with my desktop but it's being incredibly fussy. It's had some trouble with games, but was offended that I asked it to run photoshop last night. No idea what the problem could be. It's sitting in time out today, hopefully it just needs a good sit to think about what it's done ;)

What it mostly amounted to was I couldn't finish my final pass on this last night, to correct some colors and clean up nonsense. Just as well I suppose, I haven't gotten a response from the client yet as to whether or not something needs to be changed (because it takes me 4 weeks to answer an email, but I demand responses NOW NOW NOW lol).



And then this is... prepared. Idk, coloring always feels like the fast part.

Time to get back on the goat or something.

I spent the week poking at things but not really making enough progress on most of them to waste bandwidth on.



And I got word last night that this isn't going to be published, which I take as permission to post everywharrrrrrr.

A commission where I was given a script and a lot of free reign - which I then promptly regretted as soon as it came time to do the type by hand. WHHEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeugh.

I'm not out of the woods yet. I'm getting there. Today is reading up for accounting and working on a paper.... tomorrow is another review session for an exam on Thursday. Next week isn't as bad as last week, at least. After that things should be 'ok' until finals.

Then I get 5 weeks off from school yayyyyyyyyyy.

You have no idea how happy I am to have finally got this background working. RAAAAAAAAAAa



And this is nearly done but making myself do the details was just beyond me last night. lol

So you guys are pretty awesome. I had a lot of stuff go wrong in the last month and the little extra income I've gotten from commissions helped so much.

My old tablet broke. The one I bought in 2004 :( So now I have new ones! Plural! I got a medium Intuos4 for home, and the cheapest, sleaziest Bamboo I could find to travel with my laptop. They're not the most amazing things, but they're an awful lot like finding an old friend that I'd lost. Drawing's a lot easier now because I'm not fighting with my hardware.

My car broke. lol. My suspension wore out in such a way that one of my wheels wobbled, like a crummy shopping cart. Made it lots of fun to drive. So I got to pay to have that fixed. BAAAD CAR. BAD.

Yesterday I had a minor medical emergency that I got to pay for up front! AWESOME. PS the best time to get hiccups is when you're sore and nauseous from having a doctor poking around at your organs :(


ANYWAY where this pity parade is headed is: I'm running behind on commissions. Really behind. I have not forgotten you or run away with the money, I'm just up to my ears in shit. I came home from the hospital yesterday and had to lie in bed... and study for my accounting midterm today. And I have a paper due Friday. And a quiz Thursday. Really I have a busy forever.

Actually Breakaway will probably be late this week too...

Thank you for being patient with me. There's light at the end of the tunnel this weekend, but up to that point I have to practice pushing around numbers :(

I'm feeling bad for prioritizing school and I don't know why.
