Finished the Breakaway page yesterday, which really surprised me. I guess that last 6 or so have been really complex, so it was strange to cross one that's simple, with a small exception of an important background element.

It features a sort of burnt out corpse that while cartoony, I figured I'll just do a link instead of a thumb, just in case.

Have to finish that damn Alt-z comic tonight. buhhhh

Right now these are just line drawings but I think by the end of the week they'll be under cuts because both are going to feature not as nice things.

It's Thursday. I'm ready for the weekend, how about you.

This is already done and lettered and ready to go. Deathwing actually turned out so cool I pulled him off into his own file and completed him, which I'll upload tomorrow.



And then this is alllmost done. I sort of poked at it halfheartedly last night. Everything just needs a few tweeks here and there, but I'm so over it. lol



And then my guildie got back to me and answered that he did in fact have a pose in mind, negating my previous sketch, so last night I drew up a portion of the new image.

Didn't accomplish a whole lot yesterday, but I guess that's okay after all the stuff I did Monday. There was a little sketching as well, but nothing complete enough I felt like going through the process of scanning it.

Actually, I'm surprised at how quick this is coming, despite me deciding it needed more figures for the layout to make sense.

Finished the Draenai priest yesterday, omg pink.



This is very very close to done, I think another half hour, so that's what I'm doing after this.

I went to wowhead last night to get an idea of the markings on the cats, and discovered that 4.1 seems to be making Wintersaber considerably easier (reflecting the Horde equivalent in Un'goro).

Which means I get a goddamned cat! lol



I don't like this one nearly as much as when I finished it four weeks ago, and there are no word bubbles so maybe I already showed it, but today's where it fit in to the chronology. I guess it's good that I can recognize all the issues with it now, but I'd have prefered to produce something worthwhile!



I think I was burnt out from everything I did on Thursday, so last night I poked at this. I think I'll aim to get it done sometime this weekend. It's been kicking around for months now and it really does need to just be done. It's a good little piece, but thinking about it wastes time I can spend moving forward with other pieces and projects.

It really is just a few things left. Filling out the boots, finishing up the gold pieces, and trying to get the effect I want on the sword (which is tough damnit!).

Oh man you guys I almost feel like a real artist. Almost.

Finished up the Breakaway page. There are compositional issues that don't sit well with me but it's done, learn from it and move on. Like yesterday, it's still gross because of involuntary clothing removal so Just a link again.

And then the two bits of Alt-z that need to be done today.



And started throwing flats on this.

The weekend was long and the flight back was hell (well ok not so much the flight back as the waking up at 4am my time to make it), so Monday I did a tiny bit of sketching but didn't find it worth the effort to plug in my scanner.

Yesterday I actually sat down and got back to work. Yay.

I decided that the Alt-z comic I had wasn't very good. It felt too long (I really want to keep most to 2 panels, with more elaborate ones for when I think of something more fun), the drawings weren't that great, and it wasn't worded right to be immediately funny. I like the idea behind it so I'll keep it for future use, but that's it.

But that means I have to draw a new one! So that's what I started in a morose daze on Monday, and then scribbled up before bed last night. I always like it when I've finished sketching and the expressions make me laugh. It's a good sign.





And then something else I did halfheartedly yesterday, we'll see where/if it goes anywhere.



And then I got to the page of Breakaway and worked on it for about three hours (there was a lot of dicking around in that three hours). I think it's nearly done, just a matter of correcting some details. It's also turned a bit grosser than I originally anticipated, so just a link today, with a warning that her clothes are coming off involuntarily.

There's something screwy with darkelementals.com that periodically makes it time out... while everything else on Prime loads, including my email.

Hmm and I just tried the direct link instead of the domain name, and it works. Bleigh.
