I didn't think I'd finish this because I spent an annoying amount of time putting together a raid progression thread for Spirestone. Whoever was in charge of the old one like...disappeared. Blizzard's forums are really annoying.

BUT the new coloring method I'm using for these goes so fast that it was just about an hour and a half of shading and then lettering. whee.

I draw like, the most terrible lineart I've ever seen. Oh well. I wonder if I can get two pages of this done a week every week? It'd be cool to draw them twice as fast as I intend to post... have a buffer that can turn into a bonus at the end. whee.



I guess it is useable though. Also the Alt-z comics are so much easier when condensed to two panels.

More work on that weird ass drawing. I don't know. When I started I had a completly different idea in mind. I like it. The composition sort of sucks but the issue is I have to make room for another panel in the lower right corner. I think with that in mind it's ok.

Drew out an Alt-z page today so hopefully can get it colored tomorrow. Should try to redraw that Breakaway panel tonight, eh?

ARG. So I wanted to get a page of Breakaway done this week, just to feel like a responsible adult. Cleaned up one of the panels and had to redraw a lot of it in Photoshop. Got to the second one and realized it's terrible and I should just redo it. Goddamn.



But I wanted to feel like I'd made progress so I started working on the layout for the next page, and I guess it's sort of cool looking. It's potentially squicky though because of implied violence, so just a link instead of a thumbnail.

I didn't feel like existing over the holidays. Still don't, but I'm out of time off. Lol.

Set up a new computer for myself, forgetting that tiny detail where I should have grabbed all my old files first. I should be able to do that sometime this week, but at the moment it just means having to re-scan shit.

I was working on a piece last night and photoshop crashed, which absolutely blew my mind because on the old machine, WoW crashed a lot (especially recently), but photoshop never blinked - I'd completly forgotten such things happened, so of course lost two hours of work. I'd be pissed except it wasn't turning out great anyway, so... now I have an excuse to start over.

Sorry so late today. I had real life ~*~stufffff~*~ that ate my time.

Also got back to working on this, and am sorely regretting sitting on it for two months, because now I see everything wrong with it. Still think it's turning out cool tho.
