Had other STOOF to do this weekend but a bit of work done. I'm pretty sure this page can be completed tonight.

There was stuff done yesterday. Actually, I guess technically none of it's done, but some of it is getting close :P

It's monday again. How does this keep happening.







How many more times am I going to remark on the fact that I need to clean my scanner before I do.

A I finished this page I realized I'd never lettered the last one. So I got to agonize over dialog last night.



And then I poked at this one a bit. It's getting to the point wher I've had it arond too long and I'm looking at the parts I hate, and if I don't finish it soon I ever will. I'll try to get it done tonight I guess.

Could not be arsed to finish. Meebbe today?

There is a point at which DA just needs to stop counting how many messages are in my inbox and just put up an infinity symbol. Because that's effectively what a number over 400 is. I can't even respond to them all at once because after about 100 or so the system decides I must be spamming. So by the time 400 are taken care of, 400 more are waiting :P

In any case, it's come to my attention that I draw weird things.



Though sometimes you just have to draw pretty girls for no raisin (not done yet).



And I reaaaally dislike having to sketch and clean up an image on the same night, instead of letting is sit, but I've already wasted a lot of time ._.

Urgh. Sunday and Monday were emotionally exhausting days for me and I just could not be bothered to do anything. I guess it was a good thing. I finished that commission on saturday and haven't had any new ones com in (though quite a few 'let me see if I can save up for it's). Plus it gave my thumb time to heal. It definitely looks like a permanent numb spot, but at least it doesn't feel like I'm being stabbed with needles while I hold a pen.

ART IS HARD.

Anyway, Breakaway has a nice buffer so if I don't complete a page before the weekend, no one will notice, but Alt-z is always done the week of, so I'm pounding on that.



And then just a random silly drawing I thought of Monday and finally started last night



And then this got some work over the weekend but I forgot to upload it. The deep shadow on the raptor needs to be corrected so it's no so dark, but otherwise I'm ok with it.

Hmm. I finished this up over the weekend. I have a really weird issue where I think I was holding my tablet pen too long, and constricted blood flow to the tip of my thumb. As a result, I have a numb spot that becomes painful around the edges when subjected to pressure.

My friends, I think I have started in on my journey to draw myself to death.





I worked on the troll shaman as well but it appears her progress image didn't get uploaded. Poot!

I didn't get a lot done yesterday, because my back was hurting too much to concentrate. But I did poke at this a bit, so I'll show that.

I'm going to try to finish it today to make room for another commission I think is coming in ^^

It is friday, and as with all fridays I'm ready to go home and nap.





This one is looking a little weird atm because the main character is the only thing that's flat XD

Borf. I didn't get looots done but I did something so that's good.

Scribbling out linework for the next Breakaway page, and it occured to me I may want to simply paint most of it in photoshop anyway.



Then I fucked around for an hour trying different poses and lots of erasing later I came up with this for the commission I'm doing (omgomgomg). I sent it off the the guildie buying it, but it was really late so I haven't heard anything. It's also very messy. Even if he wants something else I'll probably finish it, because I think it's really cool.

Lol 2 for 1 sale.



The Alt-z page was actually finished and lettered last night, and I reallly like how it looks pulled together (there's a lot of unnecessary empty space while I color - but as with all things, I find it better to start big and cut down than have to try to add).

Work was very slow yesterday so I had a lot of time to draw. I was pleased until I realized what I'd actually done was give myself work to do over the weekend. GASP

I found this sketch that I've had since last March, but still liked so I decided to try and finish it. My linework is always terrible so I'm sort of mixed on it.

Just a link for this one because it's a bit...ouch - I've had a few comments to the effect of I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT AT ALL WTF lol

I finished this page and for the most part I'm back-patting.



I don't actually carry a sketchbook at the moment. I have one of those verrrrry classy business folders, that's bendy on one end and subdivided into 7 individually labeled sections (I guess for every day of the week). And yeah, lots of loose leaf paper. I think it's a phase but it's a nice, organized one for now.

Yesterday I realized it was getting kind of heavy so I went through all the folders and played a game of sink or swim with the various drawings. About of third of everything was simply tossed, but I did find a few that had been put away out of hopelessness, kept because they looked cool. I saved them and put them back into the 'queue' pile.

This is one of those. It started out as a gift for someone but that relationship is kind of done. The cool thing about warcraft characters is they're interchangeable tho, so now it's just a pretty priest :3 Something to work on in the airport (since my integrated wifi is dead, hurray).
