I'm a little bit surprised, because I thought I was doomed. Apparently I'm getting good enough at this that not only did I get two pages close to done last night, but I was working on them simultaneously. Cool. Maybe another hour of work on each tonight and they'll be done.

They are a bit weird tho.




Also got about 2/3 of the way through finalizing the wee drawings in this week's Alt-z. I think I can finish the rest today and get the flats in tonight.



And I think I like these drawings so I started in on getting the lines finalized. For about ten minutes. Then I took a glorious nap.

Late in the day post because stuff. I was sort of freaking out last night that I couldn't get this all done in time because I wasted the weekend on the Emily and Wildwing drawing, and then yesterday did some very, very simple coding on a rudimentary website for Breakaway that can also be used for Alt-z. I'm feeling a little better now having actually stopped to look at it with fresh eyes. I think the second page should be easy to complete, the first has quite a few panels but... I think it's ok.

This week's Alt-Z has lots of drawings but they're all quite small, so hopefully it won't be that tough to get it together.

I always drag my feet when I have to start working on this stuff and then I get into it. I'm weird.

Ughughugh universe, it's monday and I was up too late last night. It's freaking freezing outside and my feet are cold and there's supposed to be another snowstorm tomorrow and it's really tempting to just call in dead.

Didn't like how the drawing of three was going so I tried again, this time with the idea of being at the beach. Drew up three separate ones and spliced them together, which seems to work oh so well (this would be too wide for one piece of paper anyway). I'm pretty damn happy. Whee.



Finished up Emily and Wildwing, with a cheap way to get out of drawing feet. FU FEET. Probably going to be looking into turning this into a background for a webpage for Breakaway. cool.




Looking at trying a different format for Alt-Z this week, smaller but with more panels. Also dargons.

It's 11am on a Friiiday and I'm ready to go home and sleep.

Late post today because I spent most of it busy at work getting my hands torn up again. Not nearly as bad as the last time, but I guess my dream of being a hand model (yes, that is a real profession) won't happen this week either.

I did a bunch of sketching yesterday and then spent all night with *indecision* because I could decide what to work on.

Cleanup of Alt-Z, which I clearly have to finish tonight after raid



Filed away a pile of sketches that weren't ever going to go anywhere, and came across this one. It became apparent very fast why I never completed it, but I think some good can come of it.



Really fast hard lines on the Emily sketch, which should be all I need to color it how I want.



And that page of Breakaway finished just a link tho since it is a bit gross.

What I need to start doing is pulling my website back together. I guess over the next few weeks I'll start making page layouts (I think I just need three) and code something simple. Maybe try to look a bit less sloppy, eh?

I felt so lethargic last night. Blah! And I'm out of beer now too. NO JUSTICE.

I don't really have any good ideas for Alt-Z this week, so I'm going to use another one of my bad ones and hope that clears the way. I was like 'Omg I wanna draw my pally because she's cute' and then realized that this is to take place in Caverns of Time so she's just a boring human. Well. That sucks.





This page of Breakaway has turned a bit gross, so just a link. It's not terrible....yet. But blood is sort of a thing people don't usually like (no matter how completly unrealistic).

I'm getting sort of annoyed, I decided I don't really like that commission piece as is. Yay, trying again I guess.
